Time enough
later!
I cannot grasp
"Eternity"!
I live
in a scrap of time
I call "Now"!
I don’t have time
for all that "Now"
demands!
"Now" exists
between
my "Past"
and the "Future".
Too much
is already "Past".
There will be
no "Future"
unless I keep active
"Now"!
Yet "Eternity" -
not just the "Future" -
beckons me
beyond
this present reality -
beyond this "Now"!
My choices
in this continuum
of time
affect my "Now",
shape my "Future" -
and my "Eternity"?
From "Eternity"
he came.
He lived
and died
in earthly time.
That "Now"
is long past,
but he is alive -
alive in "Eternity",
alive in my "Now"!
"Now"
is the accepted time!
"Now"
in the day of salvation!
"Now"
is the time
to live and choose
and work
in the awareness
of "Eternity"!
