Sadly,
some have broken wills,
unable to choose,
fearful,
blindly
following.
But then
with life averse,
harsh,
unwilled,
we steel
our wills
to take
what faceless Fate
may deal.
But Jesus
was no victim
of such Fate.
He knew
his Father’s love.
He’d come
to love
a loveless race,
his life to give
in others’ place.
Not trapped
by hapless circumstance,
yet facing others’ cruel choice,
"Your will, Father!
Your will be done!"
He wills
the Father’s will.
