O Lord, you are God!
Across the sweeping curves
of your creation,
we have written crosses
stark and grim.
And on one cross
your life was given -
great Redeemer!
O Lord, you are God!
So often
we struggle to wrest control
from one another -
and from you!
But you alone are worthy -
our Lord and our God!
