but "No, thanks!"
Has our thanking
become
such a mere formality
that, without thinking,
we attach it
to our negativity?
How truly
do we know
the debt we owe
to others -
and to God?
Lord,
I need you!
Keep me humble
in receiving
and in giving!
A truly
humble spirit?
