But then he died -
we saw him die,
we saw him go,
we knew he'd gone!
For three days dead,
then raised to life!
But then he said,
"I'm leaving!
You are to go!
Though you can't see,
you're not alone -
I'm with you still
when I am gone!"
He said to go -
there's work to do.
Though he has gone,
we're not alone -
the promised Spirit comes!
