INDEX.
A few weeks ago, I heard it again. An elderly person said to me, "I don’t know how anyone copes without the Lord."
I have heard that many times - in almost the same words. Sometimes it has been at the times of great tragedy - loss of a child or a spouse. Sometimes, as in this case, the person has been facing the prospect of their own death.
Do you try to copy without the Lord? Many try to do it. There are many disasters along the way, but does it really work for some people - in the long term?
We live in a twisted broken world, and we aren’t promised our life will always turn out the way we would like. But we are assured "that in all things God works for the good of those who love him" (Romans 8.28).
Many have proved that to be true. Have you put it to the test?
