There are three questions often asked as Christmas approaches - “What are you getting for Christmas? Where are you going...? What are you doing...?”
The angel said, “Today in David’s town a Saviour has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord”. Jesus wasn’t just the Babe of the Christmas story. He came to live and die for each of us. He is alive from death. He rightly seeks to be our Saviour, Christ the Lord.
Whatever else you “get” for Christmas, be sure to receive Jesus Christ. He is God’s gift to you - not just for Christmas, but for the whole year and all of your life. Receiving Jesus Christ will affect the whole direction of your life (where you are “going”) - and all you do!
Happy Christmas!
