Olympic Torch - On Saturday 24 June 2000, the Olympic torch came through Home Hill, on its way to Sydney 2000. Home Hill Uniting Church elder, Bill Lucas, who was part of the torch relay for the Olympics in Melbourne in 1956, was one of the runners on this occasion too.
